So it happens that in the record of history, the American pop star diva was laid to rest at the same time that the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, was slaughtering more of his Syrian subjects.
Despite the unlikely combination of the two stories, Laughzilla found a way to do just that with this diva / dictator editorial cartoon for the bitter pill webcomic at The Daily Dose in this classic Assad / Houston cartoon.

it is not joke at all…..but only the humans will realize that
you’re totally right, rami. it’s absolutely horrible what’s happening in Syria. sometimes it’s good to use humor to illustrate the terrible acts some human take upon others. i for one want the violence to end immediately. bashar assad may be taking longer to reach the murderous heights of his father’s statistics as an evil dictator, but he’s certainly doing his best to kill as many of his own people as he can. it’s just awful.
